A Only Star Conference (or even LSC) occurs as College Athletic Conference affiliated with a NCAA’s Division Deuce. Member institutions come in the southwestern United States, with schools around Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Texas. A conference was formed around 1931 once a 5 charter members withdrew from either a old Texas Intercollegiate Athletic Association. For scheduling purposes, a conference is divided into ii divisions--Northerly & South--around occasionally sports.
Charter members involved East Texas State (at present Texas The&M-Commerce), North Texas State (now North Texas), Sam Houston State, Southwest Texas State (now Texas State), and Stephen F. Austin.
Previous members (& years of membership, whenever known) include Harding (1995-2000), Howard Payne, Houston (1946-1948), Lamar, McMurry, N Texas State (1931-19xx), Ouachita Baptist (1995-2000), Sam Houston State (1931-19xx), Southwest Texas State (1931-1987), Stephen F. Austin (1931-19xx), Sul Ross State, & Trinity.

A LSC sponsors intercollegiate competition inside men’s baseball, men’s and women’s basketball, men’s and women’s cross country, men’s and women’s golf, men’s football, men’s and women’s soccer, women’s softball, men’s and women's tennis, men’s and women’s track and field, women’s volleyball.
